REIKI WORKSHOPS - A BRIEF SUMMARY

Reiki is not only a healing art but also a path towards self-realisation empowering the individual to make positive changes in their life. Anyone can learn Reiki. No special skills or qualifications are required only the desire to learn and all you need are your hands.

Most people instinctively know if they want to learn Reiki and whether I am the right person to teach them and generally speaking people come to me when they are ready to make positive changes in their lives and join a 1st Degree workshop. However some people are drawn to Reiki but not quite sure whether it is for them and for this purpose I an introductory workshop and a brief overview is given below.

AN INTRODUCTION TO REIKI

I host an Introduction to Reiki evening at least once a month so that if you are drawn to Reiki you can come along and find out more allowing you to make an informed decision as to whether training is right for you. During the workshop you will learn the history of Reiki as well as finding out what training at New Beginnings entails. We will also cover what Reiki is and isn\'t and there will be manuals for you to browse and literature to take away with plenty of time to ask questions. A full Reiki treatment is included so that you can experience it for yourself and your investment is £30. Workshops are held every week on a weekday evening or if you prefer a daytime appointment can be arranged. A FREE information pack is available on request. 1ST DEGREE REIKI

If you are interested in learning Usui Reiki Ryoho then this training is for you. No prior knowledge is required and training takes place over two full days either on a one-to-one basis or in a small group to ensure your receive individual attention. Your investment in training is £140 and once attuned to the Reiki energy it is yours for life.

2ND DEGREE REIKI - PRACTITIONER LEVEL

If you have been practising 1st Degree Reiki for a minimum of three months and would like to continue your self-development and/or become a practitioner then this workshop is open to you. It spans two full days with a follow-up meeting arranged on completion of case studies and self-healing. Training is in very small groups or one-to-one to ensure individual attention. It is designed to suit the individual therefore if you were taught elsewhere you can still join this class. This is an in depth course and your investment in training is £200 for existing students and £230 for newstudents. REIKI REFRESHER WORKSHOPS - FOR STUDENTS ALREADY ATTUNED TO REIKI

The following workshops are ideal if you have been attuned to the Reiki energy but for whatever reason haven’t practised very often. The training is tailored to individual requirements so it doesn’t matter where you did your original training or how much or little you were taught in the past as these workshops cover both Western and Japanese techniques and will give you the confidence and inspiration to continue your Reiki practice.

Reiki 1 refresher workshop begins at 1.00pm and finishes at 6.00pm with an investment of £75.00 to include a comprehensive training manual and ongoing support.

Reiki 2 refresher workshop begins at 11.30am and finishes at 6.00pm with an investment of £100.00 to include both 1st and 2nd Degree manuals and ongoing support.

ADVANCED JAPANESE REIKI TECHNIQUES

Advanced techniques are incorporated in Reiki 2 training with the emphasis on working intuitively using reiji ho and byosen ho. However, because there is so much to fit into two days this optional workshop is suitable for you if you would like to review what you were taught in 2nd Degree Reiki and also learn further Japanese Reiki techniques. This hands-on workshop is tailored to individual requirements therefore it is suitable for you if you trained with me at New Beginnings or were taught Reiki elsewhere. 3RD DEGREE REIKI - MASTER/TEACHER LEVEL

You will know if and when you are ready to progress to this level and need to be aware that 3rd Degree Reiki is a huge commitment which basically means dedicating your whole life to Reiki. There is no going back once you have made the decision and training at this level is on a one-to-one basis following written application and successful interview. REIKI EXCHANGE GROUP & DEEPENING YOUR REIKI PRACTICE

The Reiki exchange groups and the Deepening your Reiki Practice workshop are both open to all my students. The feedback I have had from this group is very positive and new students tell me the added practice has given them greater confidence. The exchange evening costs £5 and the deepening your reiki practice £10. Both are held on a weekday evening every 6 weeks or so.

MEDITATION AND REIKI SELF-HEALING

Meditation and Reiki go hand in hand and this workshop is for you if you would like to learn simple meditation techniques for self-development and to enhance your Reiki practice. Each session will be different and include self-healing working with colour, music, crystals, essential oils mantra etc alongside Reiki and there will be a guided visualisation. Your investment in training is £30 and workshops are ongoing, usually in the evening.

REIKI WITH CRYSTALS

Many Reiki practitioners feel drawn to working with crystals and this workshop will give you the confidence to work intuitively using crystals alongside your Reiki practice. A handbook is included and your investment is £50. PENDULUM DOWSING TO SUPPORT YOUR REIKI PRACTICE

Working with a pendulum allows you to tap into your inner knowing and this workshop is suitable for you if you are a beginner. During the training you will learn how to dowse with and without charts to find answers which support your health and wellbeing. A manual is included and your investment is £50. Provisional training dates are published on the calendar at www.freewebs.com/reikinewbeginnings and this course usually runs in the evening.

DREAMWORK AND REIKI

Even if you don’t always remember your dreams, the more value you place on your dreamwork the easier it will become. Indeed, unless we have a sleep disorder, we all dream several times each night as part of the sleep cycle. Often, dreams are simply a reflection of something watched on TV being being vented from our unconscious mind but at other times dreams are symbolic, prophetic or of a spiritual nature. Sometimes we are fully aware we are dreaming. This is known as lucid dreaming and some people find it possible to change the outcome of their dreams whilst others endure years of recurring dreams and nightmares. This type of dream can be disturbing yet like most dreams is an attempt to penetrate our conscious awareness and bring something important to our attention. Therefore, if we make a commitment to understanding and working with dreams our dreamwork will take us on a journey of discovery helping us to find our true path in life.

Dreamwork is healing. Therefore if you would like to unlock the messages hidden deep within your psyche this workshop will help you get started and your investment is £50. Worksheets are provided to assist with your analysis and guided visualisation will take you on a dream journey allowing you to re-enter your dream and gain greater insight and clarity. The workshop will finish with Reiki to accelerate healing and all you will need to bring with you are two or three dreams to work with.
