It works holistically to balance the chakras and nurture the free flow of prana, or life force energy and when combined with Reiki is extremely relaxing and healing. The treatment concentrates on areas which tend to hold most stress and tension namely the upper back, shoulders, neck, face and scalp. There is no need to undress so therefore the treatment can be carried out anywhere, including the workplace, whilst sitting in a chair. Traditionally massage oil is used in the treatment. Nevertheless, this is a matter of personal preference as the improved blood and lymph flow alone will have a beneficial effect on hair and scalp conditions.
